The wait is finally over: we are proud to announce the launch of the long-awaited Paris Lit Up Magazine n°2!
Back with a boom, Paris Lit Up Magazine n°2 is much more than a simple repetition. Now with 200 full-color pages, a stunning semi-transparent dust jacket and nearly 100 contributors, this independent publication truly testament to grassroots DIY publications. It is available in both print as well as 2 digital versions, including a new multimedia ibook format that includes special video content. Poetry, short-stories, flash fiction, photography, artwork, interviews and even comic books: Paris Lit Up Magazine n°2 has something for every connoisseur of contemporary writing.
This year we are launching our magazine in celebration of the international 100 Thousand Poets for Change day, a worldwide event celebrating peace and sustainability and to call for serious social, environmental and political change. Join hundreds of thousands of poets, writers, artists and musicians in demonstrating that another world is possible through collective, grassroots organizing. Stay tuned to this website for more details and fun surprises.
We will be graciously hosted by Hanger 56, an autonomous artist squat in the heart of Paris’ bustling 11th arrondissement. Beyond actively participating in the evening, they will be providing a full-service bar at prices that are truly populaire.
The evening is free and open to all and will include readings and performances by any number of our magazine contributors, musicians, artists and activists participating in 100TPC and the sounds of DJ Sven Löve! Anyone wishing to read a poem, sing a song or otherwise contribute to the evening is encouraged to arrive promptly at 20h and get themselves onto the list!
…oh, and be sure to bring 10€ for the magazine!

DJ Sven Löve
After being a DJ for more than 15 years in Paris and all over the world, Sven decided to focus on writing. He loves writing short stories and has plenty of them in his bag. He has also co-written with his sister, the well-known French film director Mia Hansen-Löve a script for a feature film titled « Eden ». It is the fourth feature of Mia and is being premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. It’s a fiction based on Sven’s souvenirs as a DJ.
